Hairlaya hand-tied extensions are a quality hair investment at a luxury price point. Let’s break down the cost of the extensions, installation and more!

How much do Hairlaya hand-tied extensions cost?

There are many details that factor into the cost of your extensions. The length and amount of the hair is the most important factor. Hairlaya sells two lengths, 18 inches and 22 inches. Hair that’s 18 inches long will cost less than the 22 inch long hair. One standard order, eight bundles, of 18 inch hair is $436. A standard order of 22 inch hair is $668. A consultation with your stylist will help you decide what length and amount of hair you need!

Do I need to pay for Hairlaya hand-tied extensions all at once?

No! Hairlaya partners with Sezzle to allow you to pay for your extensions in four easy installments.

How much does hand-tied extension installation cost?

This will depend on the stylist you choose. Most stylists will charge $1000 to $1500 to install your hand-tied extensions. For most stylists this overall price will include the purchase of the hair, the 3-5 hour installation process, and any cutting or coloring you may need. Some stylists may charge you for a cut and color separately. The salon or stylist you work with will let you know during your free consultation how their pricing works.

What will hand-tied extensions maintenance cost?

Hairlaya recommends getting hand-tied extensions maintenance every four to eight weeks, depending on your hair growth. You will have to get your beads moved up, which allows you to enjoy your hair for as long as possible! Salons and stylists will usually charge $100-$300 for this maintenance.

Do I buy my hand-tied extensions, or does my stylist purchase them?

You have the choice! Some people prefer to buy the hair and ship it to themselves, then bring it to a stylist. This is a good choice if you already have experience in getting hand-tied extensions, and require little consultation with a stylist to know what suits you. If you’re new to hand-tied extensions, it is best to have a consultation with an experienced stylist who will recommend the best hair for you, then buy and ship it directly to your salon when you’re ready to have it installed. Overall, your hand-tied extensions will cost $1500 to $2000.
